Advent is a season of preparation for Christmas that lasts from the First Sunday of Advent until Christmas Eve. Christmastime is a season of celebration that last from Christmas Day until the feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

Forty doors open revealing images for every day from the beginning of Advent until the feast of the Baptism of the Lord at the close of the Christmas season. Put a light inside or above and the images glow like stained-glass. Designed as a six-sided tower, the calendar can be the centrepiece of your seasonal décor.

A booklet by Craig M. Mueller is included with customs, prayers and readings for each door opening.  Throughout the booklet are suggestions for keeping Advent and Advent’s final days, keeping Christmas, celebrating the New Year and keeping Epiphany. There are blessings here too – of a Christmas tree, a nativity scene, of the New Year and of the home.
