Synopsis

• "Since the Ascension of the Messiah, Jerusalem had been restless, uneasy. The Romans paced the streets with more ferocity, and the Pharisees and Sadducees were even more determined to ferret out the followers of the Christ. So the fearful followers stayed silent and concealed. Until, one day, a mighty wind tunnelled through the alleyways of the city and stopped at the Cenacle, blowing under the door and through the whole room, until the shutters flew open and sunlight streamed in..."

  In this story, set after the Easter joy of Our Lord's resurrection, we experience the despondency and confusion of the Apostles, but then, later, their joyous zeal as the Holy Spirit descends upon them at Pentecost, and fills them with his courage and enthusiasm to spread the Gospel.
