The Prodigal Son - Banner

'Your brother here was dead and has come to life; he was lost and is found.' Luke 15:32
'God's ways are not our ways.' (see Isaiah 55:8).
Most probably it was the Prodigal's memory of a loving, understanding father that helped him to carry out his brave decision to return home and admit his fault. And his hopes were fulfilled beyond his wildest dreams. Twice the father gives his reason for this huge celebration: this son was dead and has come back to life. Jesus identifies with the sinner-son. He too was dead and came back to life, and we all may follow him there.
From the beautiful series of images, 'Jesus, Our Hope,' which follow the Ministry of our Lord in a colourful presentation of his miracles, parables and other events.
