First martyr of England (Protomartyr) killed
in Verulanium now St. Albans, Hertfordshire where a Cathedral, Abbey Church was
built in his honour. Mentioned by St Bede in his Ecciesiastical History
c.731, he was thought to be a convert to Christianity who died protecting a
priest.

Fire retardant: BS5867/Type B DIN4102. An extra depth of approx. 12" should be allowed when measuring to allow for the hanging cord. A sample of the material can be supplied upon request.
