Ignatius of Loyola, 1491 - 1556. Founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) 'contemplatives in action'. Author of the Spiritual Exercises, expert in the art of spiritual direction. Developed a way of praying that helps people "find God in all things" which is the signature of Ignatian spirituality.

Spanish courtier and aristocrat who suffered near fatal wounds as a soldier in the battle of Pamplona (1521) and experienced a conversion to his true vocation through the call of God. The spiritual path defined by Ignatius is a way of discerning God's presence in our everyday lives and acting on it.

Hanging Banner: Dye sublimation printing on a 100% close
weave, natural feel polyester material with dowling, tulip wood end caps and
gold effect hanging cord. Fire retardant: BS5867/Type B DIN4102. An extra depth
of approx. 12" should be allowed when measuring to allow for the hanging
cord. A sample of the material can be supplied upon request.
